Christmas at Leeds Museum

On Saturday 9th December, members of LIDOS, Leeds Gilbert & Sullivan Society & St Mary's Youth Theatre provided part of the entertainment during the "Christmas at the Museum" event at Leeds City Museum.

St Mary's Youth Theatre opened the entertainment with a specially devised performance, featuring songs from their recent Carriageworks production of "Les Miserables - the Schools edition".

Leeds G & S carol concert was rudely interrupted by the Ugly Sisters, from the LIDOS pantomime Cinderella, coming back from a shopping spree in Leeds. When they went off looking for a beer, they left a very upset Cinderella to be consoled by Prince Charming by singing together.

The four of them then performed their own version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" before joining forces with Leeds G & S for a rendition of "Mary's Boy Child".
